Privacy Policy

Information pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR — what data we process and why.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

  • Crystal Detailing
  • Mohamad Nawied Azmie
  • Romain-Rolland-Straße 14, 13089 Berlin
  • Phone: +49 176 22006510

2. Your rights

You have the right at any time:

  • to request information about the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • to request rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • to request erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • to request restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR),
  • to receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • to withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

An informal message to the email address above is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you access the site, the host automatically collects data that your browser transmits and that is technically necessary to deliver the page:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of access
  • page accessed and volume of data transferred
  • referrer URL, browser type and operating system

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free and secure operation of the website. The data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted automatically after a short period.

4. Contact form

The contact form on this website does not send anything itself. Your input (name, email address, phone number, vehicle and your message) stays in your browser. When you tap “Send request via WhatsApp”, WhatsApp simply opens with a message prepared from it; it is only sent once you tap Send there yourself. If you choose the email route instead, your mail program opens with the same prepared message.

At no point is your input transmitted to our server, stored there or logged. It only reaches us once you send it in WhatsApp or your mail program — by the route you chose yourself.

If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, contact details, vehicle, enquiry) in order to answer your request and prepare a quote. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention periods apply.

When you contact us via WhatsApp, your phone number and the content of your message are transmitted to WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. If you wish to avoid this, please use email or phone.

5. Google Maps — only with your consent

We embed a Google Maps map on the contact section. The map is NOT loaded automatically. You initially see only a placeholder; a connection to Google's servers is established only once you explicitly click “Load map”.

In doing so, your IP address and further usage data are transmitted to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; a transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time by reloading the page — the map will then remain unloaded. See Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

6. AI assistant “Crystella”

This website offers a chat assistant. When you send it a message, the content of your message is transmitted to and processed by Anthropic PBC, 548 Market St, PMB 90375, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA, in order to generate a reply.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is answering your questions immediately. We do not permanently store chat histories on our servers. Even so, please do not enter sensitive or unnecessary personal data into the chat — for specific enquiries and appointments, please use WhatsApp, phone or email.

If the service is not configured, the assistant answers exclusively from a locally stored question-and-answer catalogue. In that case your input never leaves our server.

7. Google reviews

This website reproduces reviews that customers have publicly left on our Google Business Profile. The texts are embedded as static content — no scripts, fonts or other resources are loaded from Google, and merely viewing this page establishes no connection to Google.

8. Fonts

This website uses the typefaces “Sora” and “Inter”. They are served exclusively from our own server and are not fetched from Google when the page loads. No connection to Google's servers is established and your IP address is not transmitted to Google.

9. Audience measurement (without cookies)

To understand how often our pages are viewed, we use Vercel Analytics (Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). The service works explicitly WITHOUT cookies and without persistent identifiers: no profile is built about you, you are not recognised across visits, and the data collected (page viewed, referrer, coarse device type) is evaluated in anonymised form. Your IP address is not stored.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in a data-minimising measurement of our website's reach.

10. Cookies

This website sets NO cookies — neither our own nor third-party ones, and none for audience measurement. We use no tracking or advertising services and create no user profiles. For this reason, no consent banner is required.

The only exception arises if you explicitly load the Google Maps map by clicking (see section 5) — Google may then set cookies as part of the embedded map service. Without that click, this does not happen.

11. Changes to this policy

We will adapt this privacy policy whenever the legal situation or the functionality of this website changes. The version published here applies.
